Where do I even start? Location wise it is amazing if you just want to relax. It is just so peaceful and the views are beautiful. Everywhere you turn it looks like a painting. The villa, as Nicola will explain it once you get there, is a 14th century castle very well maintained. You get the old times feeling on the outside and modern on the inside. Now the host. Nicola, I cannot thank you enough for your hospitality from the first second we got there. We have never met someone so passionate and so good at what you do. It has been over a week now and I cannot stop talking about Villa Egle, and the amazing work you are doing there. We have been recommending your place in every conversation we have had, and we are planning to return there with our families. We must share the beauty with everyone we know. I truly believe that Villa Egle and Nicola are special.

We arrived at noon at Villa Egle and Nico welcomed us very warmly and showed us the rooms while informing us about the rich history of the place. The rooms are huge and I can highly say the most comfortable I have ever experienced in my life. The outdoor facilities were magnificent and honestly we were really sad that we didn't have the opportunity to stay longer at this beautiful gem. Definitely we will visit again more than once.

Villa Egle is an exceptional guesthouse in Perugia, with two truly wonderful proprietors. Nicola and Pier Luigi made me feel very welcome to their home. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a comfortable and full size en suite bathroom. The common areas are particularly stunning, as they restored a beautiful villa into something unique, that blends the lovely stonework with modern conveniences. The superb views from the patio of the valley below were truly surprising to me. In some ways it feels more like a resort than a B&B! I can't say enough good things, which prompted me to write a review. If you want to stay in Perugia but still have some quiet away from the crowds, this is the perfect solution.

Beautiful location with great view, great rooms and building, excellent service, nice team. Highly recommended for families and single people looking for a stay or vacation in marvelous Umbria.

We liked everything about the structure, from the services and the care they offered for our furry friend Kira, to the location, the furnishings, and the cleanliness. It is truly a beautiful place. Nicola and Pierluigi are really very kind and welcoming. We felt at home. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful place rich in history, a villa from the 14th century, overlooking the Umbrian hills. As soon as we arrived, Nicola welcomed us and proudly illustrated the noble past of this stunning residence. Every detail is placed just right, nothing is left to chance. The love that can be felt in this place is truly special, just like Nicola and Pierluigi, two wonderful people who welcomed us like old friends. We stayed for 4 nights in two different rooms, each more beautiful than the other, furnished with great taste, a perfect blend of history and design. The cleanliness is excellent. There is also a convenient parking space within the structure. Last but not least, the large garden, with a spectacular view, perfect for spending some moments of relaxation in the silence of the Umbrian countryside or for chatting with other guests or, why not, immersing ourselves in the large Jacuzzi. Our furry friend also enjoyed the spaces. Their suggestions on places to visit or where to eat were precious. Anyway, just a few kilometers from Perugia and other places of interest, rich in history, art, and nature. We sincerely thank Nicola and Pierluigi for their availability. We hope to return soon. I recommend it to everyone.

Prestigious villa immersed in greenery, former thirteenth-century castle, completely renovated and tastefully furnished, the rooms are very clean and equipped with all comforts. What can I say, spectacular. If you want to immerse yourself in the countryside of Perugia, Villa Egle is the place for you. This fantastic location exudes history and medieval charm, it's a perfect mix of ancient and modern, the rooms are enchanting with breathtaking views, a beautiful garden cared for in every detail like the entire structure, tranquility is guaranteed. A few kilometers away, there is a renowned golf course that I recommend visiting. Thanks to Nicola and his fantastic Villa, we had an unforgettable stay in Umbria, which is also fantastic. Nicola is an excellent host, kind and caring, very courteous, ready to answer our questions at any time. Highly recommended, in fact, if you have to stay in that area, you must go to Villa Egle.

In a few minutes by car you can reach the most enchanting places in Umbria, as well as supermarkets, superstores, and shops. Villa Egle, as mentioned above, although immersed and elevated in a splendid Umbrian hill - so much so as to already deserve it for where it is located - a full praise for the movement and for the places of arrival, turns out to be a spectacle of history and nature. Located in a place where you can admire a stunning and exciting landscape. What sunsets from the garden of Villa Egle! An oasis of relaxation where tranquility and well-being reign supreme. We repeat. A note of great merit goes to the hostesses of the structure, Nicola and Pierluigi, whom we had the opportunity to meet, talk to, and share moments of conviviality. Fantastic people who welcomed us in an excellent way, as if we were part of their family: "availability, sympathy, education, affability, and sympathy are the qualities of these wonderful people. Extremely courteous and very friendly hosts, available for any request, we felt at home, with the use of a very beautiful, large and sunny communal kitchen. Very well-kept, large garden, equipped with some sun loungers and chairs for relaxation, sunset view! The garden alone is worth the stay! Quiet location, convenient for visiting the whole region, Villa Egle Hospitality in a very quiet area immersed in nature, excellent for small dogs, cool and quiet room, excellent quality bed and bath linen, very comfortable pillows. I stayed at Villa Egle for 3 nights. The place is slightly outside Perugia (a few minutes by car) and is in the open countryside: magnificent view and perfect silence. Parking for guests and wi-fi with excellent signal. The managers Nicola and Pierluigi were prompt in welcoming and making themselves available to provide information and also to have a couple of informal and friendly chats. In my particular case, they provided me with fundamental support when halfway through my vacation my wallet was stolen while visiting an Umbrian location. They understood my situation and were able to help me in those last 2 days when I was without documents and cards. Highly recommended for those seeking silence and a relaxing place.

Nicola and Pierluigi have, with taste and class, managed to enhance an ancient residence among the Umbrian hills, respecting not only the environment but also the spaces. The result is a completely renovated villa suitable for both spending relaxing days and hosting events making the most of the beautiful garden. We enjoyed with the family a weekend during the Umbria Jazz event, staying in the 'Il Giardino' room. Nicola and Pierluigi are extremely kind and helpful, ready to meet the needs of customers. Villa Egle is located a few kilometers from Perugia on the regional road passing through Canneto. This experience definitely leaves you rejuvenated and happy.
