Our R & B TIRANO is located in a lovely mountain area, rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural merit, in a location with a spectacular view, in the heart of the city. "R &B Tirano A 20mt Stazione Trenino Rosso Bernina" is a prestigious home for breathing in the scent of our past, design with meticulous attention to detail, unique, distinctive style.

This hotel is the ideal place to stay if you are riding the Gotthard Panorama Express. Located right across from the train station. You can see the train from your window. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and communicative. I would recommend to anyone staying in Tirano.

Absolutely loved this property. The room was clean, especially the bathroom, comfortable bed and the location was right next to the train station. The breakfast was our favourite - in a restaurant and delicious pastries! Overall a fantastic stay.

Excellent! We were positively surprised by the comfort of the room, the breakfast. Everything was clean, beautifully decorated. Coffee and tea included in the room as well. The staff assisted us all the time and made sure we arrived well. Breakfast is in a beautiful restaurant next door. Great location. Just crossing the street from the train station. I recommend this place.

The cost performance was very good, thank you! It would have been better if there were tissue in the room. If there was better shampoo and treatment. Also, there was water in the pot, so the cleaning was questionable.

I would just like to make an observation about the bathroom because I was really surprised that I couldn't find toilet paper including the holder for it. I have never seen it before and, honestly, I didn't like this experience. Other than that everything was excellent. The hotel restaurant is charming and the food is very good.

We arrived in the afternoon to go with the Bernina Express early the next morning. The location is super convenient just a few steps from the train station and the Bernina Express station. We were greeted in the restaurant by friendly hosts that took us to the house where the apartment was. I've seen reviewers who believed that it was strange to go to a restaurant for check-in, but it was all straightforward (although two restaurant names were stated in the information). I guess it's a family-run business with the restaurant and the rooms and apartments, so it all makes sense. We were two adults and two teenagers and stayed in the top floor apartment. It was spacious and clean. The kids slept well on the sofa bed. The apartment was as advertised in the photos or even a bit better actually. The apartment has a kitchen area, however, there were no housewares to prepare food. I understand why there are none for short stays and it had not been advertised that it should be. But it might be good to know if someone, like us, looked at the photos and planned to have dinner in the apartment instead of at a restaurant. The breakfast was excellent. It was in the restaurant that was modern. There was not that much to choose from, but all was fresh and tasty. Bacon and eggs are prepared in the kitchen. I opted in for it when they asked and WOW it was great. Tasty, well-prepared, and a nice presentation. I truly enjoyed it. Payment for the room was taken care of after breakfast. Then, we walked a few meters to the train and went on the beautiful journey over the Alps at 8.06. I would definitely stay at Tirano Eco Rooms again.

Due to cancellations of some train routes, I was unable to get to Tirano in a timely manner. Nevertheless the hosts offered great hospitality. I’m forever grateful for the extended generosity. This was my first time booking a B&B; this experience has been extremely personal and would recommend this booking to anyone who would like a more personal experience and delicious breakfast. Everything at breakfast is fresh and tasty, but my favorite item was the croissant!

This place is great. We were only here one night to catch the Bernina Express (literally outside our window, it is so close). Wish we would have stayed longer. The place was amazing. Clean, updated, breakfast is the best we’ve had on our trip. Highly recommend!

I loved this cozy top floor space; it is hard to find room for a family of 4, but this space was perfect for a short time. It is close to the train, shops, and the town, which is beautiful and lovely to walk around. The check-in was a little tricky as we could not find the door or know who to talk to about getting the keys. A waitress from a restaurant helped us out. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was phenomenal! Eggs, bacon, and a wide spread of pies and pastries! Everyone was so polite and helpful! I would highly recommend staying at Eco Rooms.

Modern recent rooms with good security and access. We struggled with the modern energy-saving bathroom taps and did not manage to have a hot shower and we must have been the last clients for breakfast as certain items were finished. Excellent location and hosts; I would return again.

Room and location aren't perfect, but the air conditioning isn't good enough, especially for the cold. I don't know, maybe about gas supply, but we woke up because of the cold. I would like to see olives, some vegetables for breakfast, and some variety of cheese because we are in Italy. That's why breakfast is not good enough for us.

This was fantastic and we could not have wished for anything else. We came up from southern Italy and I completely forgot to bring a sweater for the Bernina Express, and the shops were already closed. The host went out of their way and even organized me a sweater, a coat, and a scarf! I could not recommend this more - we will definitely be back. Much love, they saved my trip! Also, the place is great value for money and directly next to the train station. So happy!

Our best Bed and Breakfast on our trip. I couldn't fault the service. Bruno was very caring and friendly. The dinner in the restaurant (Bruno's son is the chef) was excellent. Alessa (sorry if I have spelled that wrong) in charge of the Bistro was very helpful. A wonderful stay.

Nice stay. Everything was perfect. Love the decorations of the house. Room was very clean and comfortable. Just 2 minutes walk to the station. And Bistrot Merizzi is just next door. My dinner at Bistrot Merizzi is actually the best out of the places that I visited during my Europe trip (out of St. Moritz, Friedrichshafen, Salzburg, Vienna and Munich). Highly recommend B&B Tirano and Bistrot Merizzi. There is room for improvement though. Would be perfect if Wi-Fi is available. Wi-Fi access through Bistrot Merizzi cannot be accessed at the property since it is just out of range.

The staff is very kind and helpful. We stayed for one night to take the Bernina Express. The location is top, very close to the station. The rooms are very clean. Although we arrived too late at the location, the check-in instructions were very clear. Also, even though we were late for breakfast, they prepared the dish for us. Very kind, nice. I recommend it 100%.

Perfect accommodation for the Bernina Express, closer to the Rhaetian Railway station is impossible. Also, the garage (to be booked) is practically in the station. Renovated and well-maintained environments in several buildings all very close. The owners also have 2 restaurants (Merizzi and Liberty) where you eat very well; Merizzi offers revisited traditional dishes, Liberty is a pizzeria restaurant that offers normal and gourmet pizzas, both of excellent quality. Friendly staff, efficient and caring owner.

Excellent reception at the agreed time in agreement with the owner. Spacious, very clean room complete with everything, from the kettle to the coffee maker. The books in the room were much appreciated. The shower with a privacy curtain was very nice. Large terrace, perfect air conditioning. Very good personal care products. Super breakfast, served in the fabulous Merizzi bistro room a few meters from the room. Maybe the salty proposal could be increased, however, an excellent breakfast. Kindness and courtesy of the owners/staff excellent. Highly recommended especially for those who need to use the Bernina train and other public transport. Quiet and peaceful despite the very close location to the station. If I had to come back to Tirano, I would definitely come back.

Highly recommended for the trip with the Bernina Red Train as it is adjacent to the station. Very well-kept and tasteful environment. The Liberty pizzeria that is part of the structure has a very pleasant atmosphere and delicious pizza, with very fresh and refined ingredients. Perfect quality/price ratio.

Some points that could be improved: - missing plug for the bidet - air conditioner very noisy (too much) - missing minibar in the room even just for some cold water Good thing they have a paid garage, it would be impossible to park there For the price paid per night, it would deserve some more services.

In view of a weekend getaway, I booked a room at Bruno and Silvana's b&b, certain to spend a couple of days in a pleasant location like Tirano: a delightful village near the Swiss border. First and foremost, I would like to highlight the kindness and availability of the owners who allowed me to deposit my luggage even before check-in time, thus enabling me to visit the characteristic town of Tirano without any weight to carry until the actual check-in time. Breakfast at the table with a choice of sweet or savory dishes that was abundant and rich in fresh and high-quality food. Breakfast is served at the adjacent Liberty restaurant. Mr. Bruno and Mrs. Silvana also made themselves available with great kindness in providing information on the route/itinerary of the regional Bernina train (highly recommended). Given the current restrictions related to the new "health emergency" provisions, they allowed me to book dinner and enjoy the meal peacefully inside my room. I am certain that in the future I will return to Tirano and definitely consider staying again at the Tirano Eco Rooms property.

Unforgettable! My partner and I finished our stay yesterday and we already miss it! The property is located in a very central position where you can find the FS and Bernina Express station, a few meters away you can also find the Bus stop and the Car Sharing station. Tirano Eco Rooms and the border towns offer numerous activities to do and Mr. Bruno with great kindness and availability offers excellent advice, for example following his instructions we were able to admire the natural beauties of Switzerland passing through Poschiavo up to the Bernina Pass at 2300 meters, amazing! We were able to use the bikes from the property to ride the cycling routes of Valtellina (they also rent electric bikes). The breakfast at their affiliated bar is excellent, both sweet and savory, and the staff is really welcoming and always smiling, it is evident that they love their job! I sincerely thank Mr. Bruno, Mrs. Silvana, and all the staff! I hope to come back soon!

Mr. Bruno was very kind and very helpful. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the full breakfast as scheduled (which I know to be excellent) because we were leaving with the 7:41 red train and breakfast was scheduled for 7:30. He was still very kind to prepare cappuccino and brioches for us half an hour earlier and to allow us to leave our luggage until the evening to then move to another accommodation due to the unavailability of his for the second night.

Excellent facility, perfect location with Bernina train station just a few meters away, fantastic and very abundant breakfast, Mr. Bruno, very knowledgeable and helpful, gave us useful tips for our visit and made us feel at home. Excellent location, right in the city center and on the main street of Tirano, just a step away from the station. For those who forget something, there are also 2 supermarkets just across the street. Breakfast not very abundant because they bring a small tray to the table for each person with a choice of sweet or savory breakfast.

Stayed from Friday 02/02 to Sunday 04/02, we chose 'Tirano Eco Rooms' as a base for a weekend in Valtellina with a trip on the Bernina red train and we were definitely satisfied: located in the immediate vicinity of the station, the B&B boasts very functional rooms just renovated with the possibility of a reserved and covered parking space, the owner is very kind and extremely helpful in providing useful information to make the most of the stay. Full breakfast at Bistrot Merizzi a few steps from the B&B and here too you will find attentive and very kind staff. Highly recommended.

Bruno and his staff are perfect, you couldn't ask for more. If I really have to point out some minor things, I would say that the breakfast is very abundant and good and is served at the bar in front. Regarding the room, cozy and clean, I would point out that the shampoo/shower gel samples are not enough, while the soap should be replenished a few more times, but surely just asking would have been enough and they would have provided it! Mea culpa! If I can suggest, a soap dish in the shower would be needed. But these are just insignificant details. I highly recommend it as a base for multiple excursions (Tirano doesn't offer much).

I can give an excellent rating to the establishment that hosted us over the weekend. The courtesy, the quality of the environment, the accurate cleanliness, the abundant and stimulating breakfast, the availability of private parking, the owner's willingness to buy train tickets to the Bernina train for us, the valuable advice provided that allowed us to optimize the result of the visit, and last but not least, the marvelous pizzoccheri served for dinner at the Bistrot Merizzi attached to the B&B. I think that's enough to demonstrate the opinion.

We stayed one night at Tirano Eco Rooms and it was truly worth it, I must say that all the reviews I read before booking turned out to be true, in fact, the room was fabulous, cleanliness and order reign supreme. Mr. Bruno is an exquisite person, with impeccable professionalism. The photos on the website fail to showcase the beauty of the entire apartment, in fact, the kitchen area, the breakfast area, and the relaxation area are truly beautiful. Additionally, anyone staying even for just one night cannot miss dining at their Bistrot (10 meters away), which is also very unique. The staff is admirably kind, and professionalism is absolutely not lacking here. Surely, behind the kitchen door, there is a chef who not only performs their work with passion but with love, the presentation of the dishes is something that leaves one amazed. In short, I feel compelled to recommend to everyone who intends to stay in Tirano both the Tirano Eco Rooms and the Bistrot.

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night in a double room at the B&B with a private bathroom and we really liked it. Clean and warm with a TV in the room and everything needed for a one-night stay. The B&B's location is optimal for those arriving by train like us, as it is only 100 meters away (with its back turned, it is just a little further on the left just above and just behind the Sale&Pepe restaurant) and also convenient for those who want to venture out for a wonderful excursion on the Bernina red train (a bit expensive but really worth it!); moreover, the bus station is very close by. Bruno, the B&B manager, proved to be very helpful, courteous, and kind. Just a little further on is the Bistrot, linked to the B&B, where it is really worth stopping for a coffee or for an evening cocktail. Absolutely recommended.

Excellent management. Mrs. Silvana and Mr. Bruno proved to be up to the task. The rooms in their B&B are welcoming, especially the guest lounge, spacious and well furnished. My bedroom and the bathroom were a bit small. The kitchen is nice and well stocked.
