A Due Passi dal Mare

We had a wonderful stay at 'A Due Passi dal Mare' in July 2024. Francesca & Maurizio are extremely kind and caring, and breakfasts are lovely in the garden. The place is convenient to go anywhere (5 min from the train station, 5 min to the sea and 8-10 min to the boat departures). I fully recommend it.

Francesca and Maurizio are charming hosts in a family home from the 1920s. The house has character. The rooms are spacious, and mine had an original ceiling painting from the 1920s – gorgeous!

Everything was lovely and our Host made us feel at home. The train station was an easy walk as well as the beach area and city center. It was great having free parking included. Breakfast was nice, mostly packaged items still due to Covid concerns, but the homemade cakes were delicious. A very pleasant stay!

My wife and I stayed here for a few days along with another couple we were traveling with. This place is a gem. Francesca goes out of her way to be helpful. The property is conveniently located between the train station, the beach and the town's restaurants and shopping, being only maybe 10 minutes away in either direction. The secure onsite parking, if you have a car, is a bonus. We'd definitely stay here again.

Francesca is an amazing hostess. She is very friendly, cooperative, and extremely helpful. I have traveled to 50+ countries so I know when I see the best. The room is spacious and looks like a 5-star hotel room. The property is about a 5-10 minute easy walk to either the train station or the beach. Free inside property parking was also very convenient and needed as street parking is almost impossible to find otherwise.

Host was very helpful and caring. She made us eggs each day as we requested. Convenient to town and beach. Very modern updating of the suite.

We stayed 3 days and we really enjoyed our stay. The room and the bathroom are very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. It was perfect to visit Cinque Terre for a few days. Answering Francesca is very kind.

Would highly recommend this place in Levanto, hosts were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Large rooms, comfortable and they have a lovely garden where we had breakfast each morning - homemade cake each day too was delicious. We parked our car inside their garden area which was good and then caught the train each day to Cinque Terra villages, short walk to train station or in the other direction to the beach area, plenty of nice restaurants in easy walking distance.

A Due Passi dal Mare is very easy to access: it is located in the heart of Levanto, has free private parking so you can leave for a visit to the Cinque Terre with peace of mind. The train station is a 5-10 minute walk, depending on your pace. They are very friendly, speak English and more French than they want to admit, and have all the information as well as up-to-date boat and train schedules available in the lobby. The beds are comfortable; the shutters make the rooms dark enough; modern and clean bathrooms with everything you need (hairdryer, shampoo, soap...) Breakfast is served either indoors or outdoors; it mainly consists of delicious homemade cakes, sealed croissants with jam, and coffee (including cappuccino:). If you want fruit, you can find it nearby (5 min. walk). It's our second time there and we definitely recommend this place!

Our host, Francesca has really been attentive to our needs, always available and pleasant; we loved the delicious homemade lemon cakes. We appreciated the location of the accommodation near the train station to take the train and reach the Cinque Terre and near the sea and the boat boarding.

Ideal location for hiking and visiting the 5 lands: 7 minutes from the train station on foot and about 10 minutes from the beach: great for a swim after the hike! Car parked in front of the accommodation and we didn't touch it for the rest of the stay. Spacious and very clean room, with a small refrigerator. Franchesca was very welcoming and available: serves breakfast outside next to the lemon trees: very pleasant... we could even enjoy this terrace for dinner. We had a very nice stay despite the rain. Everything was perfect, the place is clean and quiet. The homemade lemon cake is delicious! The proximity to the train station, the sea, and the city center allows you to do everything on foot in Levanto. We will definitely come back.

Outstanding accommodation number 3, spacious and comfortable, sunny and particularly quiet. The bedding is of excellent quality. The hostess is available and caring. The location is ideal, in the heart of Levanto, equidistant from the port and the train station. Perfect for visiting the 5 Lands. The possibility of parking your vehicle in the courtyard is a real advantage in a city where parking is tricky. Finally, the value for money is more than favorable. I recommend without hesitation.

Excellent reception, we were provided with a map to be able to park our car. The establishment is close to everything, 5 minutes on foot from the station to go and discover the Cinque Terre, and 5 minutes from the center and the beach. The owner is very rude, falsely accused us of taking her towels when she had already taken them back. Opened the closet in the room while we were not there. Breakfast not worthy of a B&B. Very bad experience. The owner does this only for the money. She should do something else. We do not recommend.

We particularly enjoyed this accommodation ideally located to visit the Cinque Terre, as the train station is a 5-minute walk away and there is free parking in the owner's courtyard. Levanto is a nice little town where you can enjoy the beach, restaurants, and bars.

Everything was absolutely perfect, from the warm welcome, the location, we did everything on foot and the on-site parking, not to be underestimated in ITALY! Not to mention breakfast where nothing was missing. We had a great stay. I highly recommend 'A Due Passi dal Mare'.

Very pleasant owner, welcoming, providing information. Very large room, large and comfortable bed, large bathroom, all very clean, air conditioning, WIFI. Very pleasant garden, tables under a pergola for breakfast. -: Average breakfast (packaged pastries, some homemade cakes, no fruit, no fruit juices, no savory products,...) Noisy (street noises, breakfast noises, and noises from people in the B&B). Failed to connect to WIFI. A bit expensive (but high season!).

I just found the breakfast, homemade cakes, biscuits and croissants under cellophane a bit limited for my taste, some fruits and a bit of savory would have been appreciated. Very nice and friendly owners. We had a large room well equipped for the family (a double bed and a bunk bed for the children). Levanto is not particularly beautiful, but the location is very well situated to take the train to the Five Lands. The station is less than 10 minutes on foot.

The location was very good for us: approximately equidistant from the train station, the city center, the sea (about 10 minutes on foot). The hostess Francesca was very friendly and attentive, she provided all the information we asked for. Despite a main road passing in front of the house, the room was very quiet.

We stayed three nights very comfortably. The room was spacious and cool, the beds comfortable and the garden very pleasant. The friendly treatment without stress, and close to the beach, the train station and the leisure area of Levanto.

The structure is not very well maintained and quite old on the outside, while on the inside it has been recently renovated. It is clean and meets current standards. The breakfast includes genuine products, but there is little choice. The owners are friendly and helpful.

I have been to this bed and breakfast twice and I have always found it very good! It is convenient to reach the sea on foot. A special mention for the owner, a very kind and helpful person.

Structure located near the sea and the center, where you can find all the necessary services (station, pharmacy, bar, restaurants, and supermarkets). Great place to visit the 5 Terre by boat or by train (I recommend the boat). The owner of the structure (Francesca) is a great person, very kind, and makes super tasty breakfast pastries. Large room with bedroom (double bed and sofa bed), bathroom with shower, no kitchenette. Excellent value for money.

We stayed two nights at this B&B with our two children. We had a great time! Clean facility, convenient to services, close to the center, reachable by train or car (internal parking, very convenient!). Mrs. Francesca very kind and helpful, unfortunately qualities rare in Liguria, at least from our experiences. Good breakfast but with little variety, although with homemade cakes by Mrs. Francesca very good and appreciated! We will definitely come back! A hug to the lady from Mariapaola, Mirko, Dafne and Enea!

Clean, tidy, and well-organized room and structure. Everything one might need was available. The room remained cool despite the heat, without the need to turn on the air conditioning, which was available in the room anyway. Excellent location, 5/10 minutes from the station, and the same distance from the sea. Recommended!

Structure in the center between the beach and the station and close to the center where the pedestrian area is located. The room was super clean. Welcoming hosts, available for any small problem or question. Highly recommended.

Homemade cakes, the lemon one is spectacular, breakfasts in the garden under the lemon grove are fantastic. Courteous and friendly managers make you feel at home.

I am deeply sorry to leave a negative review because the owner (Ms. Francesca) was kind and helpful, meeting all our requests. Unfortunately, starting from the booking phase (WhatsApp this unknown), I had doubts because after paying the deposit I tried several times to contact the property without success, despite several phone calls to the numbers provided. However, the main reasons for this negative review are the state of the room and the general cleanliness. The room is an absolutely unhealthy environment, cold, poorly heated, but above all humid. Upon entering, one is impregnated with the smell of "closed and damp" instead of a fresh and clean scent. We slept poorly, suffering from the cold and feeling like we were in a cellar; just think that the walls are full of mold and need a deep refresh. Furthermore, the managers, knowing the situation, pretend nothing is wrong and keep the temperature locked at 20 degrees; it should be noted that upon our request they raised the temperature by one degree (1) and, to avoid misunderstandings, provided us with an additional blanket. The cleanliness, on the other hand, is lacking because the windows, both internal and external, are dirty and the heating system's blades are literally full of dust. In conclusion, we are sorry for all this but for fairness, the right things must be said, which may become a reason for growth and improvement. WE WILL NOT RETURN!

I spent four nights with my two children in this agriturismo, in the center of the town of Levanto, and we had a great time. We were welcomed by Mrs. Francesca, who gave us all the necessary information for our stay. The room was very spacious, with an equipped bathroom, a small fridge with water and fruit juices, TV, Wifi, and air conditioning. The breakfast is Italian, so only sweet, served under the kiwi pergola, and Mrs. Francesca offers delicious homemade cakes. Last but not least, the availability of parking inside the garden; you park the car and can forget about it for days. We will come back. Anna, Rebecca, and Edoardo.

Mrs. Francesca was very kind and friendly, the room was as big as the bathroom and very cool even though the outside temperature was extremely high, we hardly used the air conditioning. All the cakes were very good, especially the lemon one. Congratulations. The hotel is conveniently located near the sea and the train station.

I stayed for three nights and I was very satisfied. The structure is very close to the sea and the center, the room where I stayed was quiet and very cool (despite the scorching heat of the period). Mrs. Francesca is very kind and helpful. Thank you, I will definitely come back.

Great Bed and Breakfast, excellent location (maximum 400 meters from the train station, city center, and sea). We stayed for 4 days and we had a good time. Mrs. Francesca was very attentive and helpful. Room (number 1) was really spacious with a very large bathroom and shower. Impeccable cleanliness. All in all, we had a good time and the value for money is truly noteworthy. Highly recommended.

The room doors should be soundproofed and a kettle is missing in the room. Everything else was perfect. I thank the availability of Mrs. Francesca. Thank you very much.

Positive things: internal parking and location (close to the station and close to the sea). Room a bit humid/chilly and with some aesthetic details to be revised because a bit old-fashioned (wool blanket and moth repellent inside the wardrobe). I spent two nights in this farmhouse, in the center of the town of Levanto, on my way to destinations beyond France and I must say that I was very pleased. Mrs. Francesca welcomes guests with kindness, providing immediately all useful information regarding the stay. The room reserved for me was very large, with a well-equipped bathroom, everything felt clean. Small refrigerator available to guests, with water and fruit juices. The mattress was very comfortable, as well as the hot water in the shower. The windows opened into the garden, full of beautiful flowers. Breakfast (only "sweet", but what sweets...) is served under a pergola of kiwi and lemons and is described verbally by the lady, so that everyone requests what they prefer, without waste, and in these times I find it very commendable. Finally, excellent Wi-Fi, which never hurts, especially when the journey is itinerant and in progress.

The B&B is well-maintained and clean. The night is quiet. The check-in was easy and fast. The rooms are well furnished, the bed comfortable (useful to have in the wardrobe a couple of pillows of different heights perhaps), the bathroom spacious and comfortable (useful perhaps to have a soap dispenser in the shower). Breakfast should be buffet-style, given the end of the emergency phase, with products including fruit and savory items.

Very clean and detailed place. The location is excellent as the farmhouse is just a short walk not only from the sea, but also from the train station (essential for visiting the Cinque Terre). We were welcomed with hospitality and received advice on how to move around and what to do. I recommend it.

Located about ten minutes on foot from Levanto train station, very convenient to reach the Cinque Terre and surrounding areas, and also a few minutes from the town center and the sea. The owner, Francesca, is an extremely kind, super helpful, and professional person. We had a great time. There are three internal parking spaces, and if not available, a pass for free parking is provided. Breakfast is Italian style with homemade cakes, toast with jam, honey or Nutella, coffee, cappuccino, tea. The room was clean and equipped with air conditioning. We will gladly return. Thanks again to Francesca and her husband whom we didn't have the pleasure of meeting in person.

Everything very good, kindness and friendliness.

It was a pleasant discovery both for the close location to the sea and the center of Levanto, and for the pleasant appearance of the structure.

In this 1900's villa, you will find a charming bed and breakfast, 500 meters from the sea and 500 meters from the train station and a stone's throw from the center. Parking is included in the reservation (fortunately being at 2 euros per hour). The only note is the breakfast, which seems a bit limited at a specific time (from 8 to 9) but Mrs. Francesca makes a great lemon and chocolate cake (I recommend a second serving, if not a third) and the location under a canopy full of kiwis and lemons will still be satisfying. Owners are very helpful for anything and the price considering the location is very competitive. We were lucky enough to bring home some beautiful organic lemons, the owners also have a fruit and vegetable business. Highly recommend! Location, prices, and kindness appreciated... Regards.

Excellent choice to stay in Levanto: very convenient to the train station, the beach, and the center (everywhere is a 5-minute walk). The structure is a historic villa with recently restored interiors; the environment is spacious and very clean (Mrs. Francesca cleans the rooms every 2 days), the breakfast area is a pleasant garden with lemons and other greenery. The owner goes out of her way for the guests, not letting them lack anything and... she prepares more cakes herself every day for breakfast.

It could be a nice and convenient structure in the city center with a small parking lot inside, only 3 available and quite narrow with complications to exit in the evening. Newly refurbished rooms with services. Breakfast from 8 to 9, neither earlier nor later, very poor and mainly made of packaged and not fresh products. I would say it needs significant improvement, even in times of covid. It's okay for those who are not too demanding.

Spacious and clean room with a fantastic mattress. Francesca is a helpful and friendly person who gave us lemons from her plants as a gift.

The structure is in a great location, close to both the beach and the train station. It has internal parking spaces and spacious, well-kept rooms: inside you will find everything you need including air conditioning, wifi, minibar and a fabulous garden where you can have breakfast. The owners are kind and helpful. Mrs. Francesca, in particular, personally takes care of cleaning the rooms and preparing breakfast (highly recommended her lemon cake). Not to be underestimated is the possibility of bringing pets (about a 20-minute walk from the property there is a beautiful beach for them, while a dog area is located 10 minutes away!) Highly recommended stay!

The owner was kind and punctual in delivering the room; the room was clean, functional, and spacious. The highlight is definitely the breakfast, which was very good and plentiful with cakes prepared by the owner attentive to specific requests (e.g., intolerances). My husband and I stayed two days at this bed and breakfast. We had a great time. Excellent courtesy, I read in other reviews that the owner is 'strict'. I must say that instead we appreciated the clarity and respect for Francesca's regulations for everyone's well-being. She prepared breakfast at 6:30 in the morning for our departure and made us feel at home. Very good value for money. Excellent cleanliness and location. We had free parking pass for the entire stay. There is a musty smell, but we are by the sea, the houses are old constructions and this structure has been completely renovated. We will definitely come back.

Very convenient to visit the 5 lands given the proximity to the station and still comfortable both to the center of Levanto and the sea. Francesca was very kind and helpful; I had a problem with the phone charger and she was invaluable. The cakes delicious (the lemon one really superb). I really appreciated the fridge in the room.

Everything perfect, external structure definitely needs renovation, internally the rooms have been renovated, large rooms, big bathroom. There is a smell of mold, probably because it's on the ground floor and the outside part needs renovation. Breakfast with cakes made by the owner, delicious cappuccino. Good reception, the owner in my opinion could be a bit more accommodating, instead she is strict. In Levanto there are no free parking spaces (maximum one hour) and the rate is 2€/h. We had asked for the possibility to get the car back but it was denied, we asked for the parking pass but not even that. In the end, we had to pay quite a bit to not give up a day at the beach! However, overall the mini vacation went very well, stunning place, the most beautiful beaches in Bonassola that can be easily reached with a cycle path of about 3 km, a bit of road that however offers fantastic landscapes along the way.

Perfect accommodation very close to the center and halfway between the beautiful beach of Levanto and the train station, very convenient for visiting the Cinque Terre. We visited them on the way there by train and on the way back by boat: beautiful. Francesca, the owner, very helpful.

The room had nothing to envy to a hotel. The owner was very attentive and courteous, providing all the requested information. I will recommend it to my friends.

The B&B 'A Due Passi dal Mare' is a new structure with spacious rooms, located in the city center near the train station and the ferry terminal. The managers are kind and helpful, for breakfast there are always, among other things, the delicious homemade cakes made by Mrs. Francesca.

Simple and clean structure in an excellent location near the center, the sea, and the train station. Managers always friendly and helpful. Also great for the private parking space.

I recently stayed at the property with my children. The location is halfway between the train station and the beaches, great for both the sea and walks on the paths of the 5 lands. Mrs. Francesca is kind and helpful and her homemade cakes for breakfast are delicious. The room is clean and spacious, there is also a garden with tables available for guests. I recommend it.

We stayed with 2 adults and a child for 5 nights, excellent starting point to visit the 5 lands, 5 minutes walk from the station. A stone's throw from the sea in a central position, new, spacious rooms equipped with every comfort, it feels like being at home. For breakfast you can enjoy fresh cakes made by the owner who is very kind and available to provide information. There is also free parking available. I recommend this property. Structure a few steps from the sea in a central location, welcoming, clean, and tastefully furnished. Car parking with pass provided by the house. Kindness and friendliness of the managers. Excellent and abundant breakfast (homemade cakes). In short, you really breathe a homely atmosphere! Recommended.

Accommodation more than excellent, very close to the sea, clean and tidy, very private, it's like being at home, they give you the keys and you come and go as you please. The interior is all new, well-furnished and spacious rooms with TV, minibar, safe and air conditioning. The bathroom is large and all new with a large shower and interior spotlights. Breakfast is served in the garden and you can taste fresh cakes made by the owner. Also free parking, which is not bad. I recommend this property to those looking for peace and relaxation just steps from the beach and close to bars, restaurants, shops and everything you desire in Levanto.

Excellent starting point to visit the 5 lands, 5 minutes from the station and the center of Levanto where the owner Francesca, very kind, will recommend you excellent restaurants. The Bed and Breakfast is located in the center, close to the sea and the train station. The private parking is convenient, excellent breakfast with homemade cakes, spacious and clean room and bathroom. We had a good time. Thanks to the availability of Mrs. Francesca for the various information and for the delicious lemons from her garden.

We stayed at this farmhouse for Easter holidays, we had a great time! The room is large and recently renovated as well as the bathroom, every morning at breakfast there were homemade cakes and we could leave the car in a convenient private parking inside. Mrs. Francesca was very kind and went out of her way in a thousand ways to make our stay special, in the end she even prepared some gifts for us to take home! In conclusion, highly recommended place, I would definitely return.

All in order, only damp stains on the walls of the room. For breakfast, I suggest fruit juice and non-packaged brioches. Kind in keeping our luggage for the morning, until the train departure, not kind in responding with a blunt 'no' (without any explanation) to my companion's request to use the bathroom when picking up our luggage! Too bad.

Excellent value for money, spacious and clean room with refrigerator and safe, breakfast in the garden surrounded by a lemon grove with a kiwi arbor. Mrs. Francesca is very nice, her cakes are legendary. Right by the sea and the station. I had a good time, I think I will come back.

Large and well-equipped rooms, bathroom provided with everything necessary and impeccable cleanliness! The owners are very courteous and gave us excellent lemons from their garden. The B&B is quiet and peaceful, the ground floor rooms easily accessible to everyone. Only regret, breakfast time only from 8 to 9 and check-out by 10, for maintenance and cleaning needs of the rooms. Despite the shortness of our stay, a pleasant and restful weekend.

The B&B is truly just a stone's throw from the sea, convenient and accessible even with a small child, the cleanliness and comfort of the room are perfect, air conditioning, minibar, hairdryer, the hospitality of the family is excellent starting from breakfast with homemade cakes. Great location both for the sea and the train station. The room simple but functional and above all clean. The managers were very helpful and patient in tolerating even my little dog! We were not without the lemons offered to us at the end of our stay, taken directly from the owner's lemon groves. I highly recommend this property.

The B&B is in a great location, both for reaching the sea on foot (5 minutes) and the train station (less than 10 minutes). Not to be underestimated is the convenience of the internal parking, which other facilities do not have. In Levanto during high season, it is difficult to find parking, even for a fee! Our room was spacious, fresh, with double glazing (no noise from the street) and a large bathroom (the only flaw, it would be good to have a small shelf near the sink to place things!). Breakfast is Italian style, with some packaged products and others homemade. Mrs. Francesca's cakes are really good. The owner has always been kind and helpful.

Easily reachable, with an excellent location both for walking to the sea (5 minutes) and to the station (less than 10 minutes). The car can be left in the internal parking. Really great, brand new rooms, very clean and equipped with all comforts. The managers are very kind and available, and the location is perfect for reaching the sea (3 minutes on foot) as well as the train station (5 minutes on foot). We will definitely return, it is really a nice place and we felt very good.
